LIFE LAB
How to do life, built for brains like yours.
Practical skills for ADHD, autistic, and AuDHD young adults, ages 18–25, in the Nashville area.
What Life Lab is
Adult life comes with a long list of stuff nobody actually teaches: remembering appointments, keeping food in the fridge, paying bills on time, answering emails, and recovering after a week that took everything you had. For ADHD and autistic young adults, the problem is rarely effort or intelligence. Most advice is unhelpful because it is designed for a different kind of brain.
Life Lab is a small, structured group where you build systems that fit the way your brain actually works, try them in real life, and come back each week to figure out what worked. It isn't about fixing you or teaching you to look neurotypical. It's a place to get practical, learn alongside people who understand, and stop feeling alone with the hard stuff.
We use tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and sensory and body-based approaches. Because the group is led by a licensed counselor, support is available in the moment: if a topic like money or family suddenly feels overwhelming, we pause and work through the skills together, right there in the room.
HOW IT WORKS
Core Cohort Program
12 weeks
Starting January or September
You'll meet weekly in a group of six to eight, alternating between a 90-minute in-person session at our Cool Springs office and a 60-minute virtual session.
Each month focuses on two topics. We learn a skill in person, practice it, and adjust it the following week until it actually fits your life.
Advanced
Month to month
Year-round
For Core graduates and young adults referred by their therapist.
Each month takes one topic deeper, with a 2-hour in-person session followed by three 1-hour online sessions, each with a short lesson and time to put it into practice.
Advanced group breaks in December and July.

Who it's for
Life Lab is for young adults ages 18–25 who are ADHD, autistic, or both (formally diagnosed or self-identified) and who want practical skills and community.
Because sessions are provided by a Tennessee-licensed clinician, members need to live in Tennessee.
Life Lab is a practical skills group with in-session support from a licensed counselor. It isn't a DBT program or a substitute for a higher level of care, and it works well alongside individual therapy.
If you need more support right now, the screening call is a good place to talk through what would serve you best.
For parents
Many families help cover the cost, and that's welcome. Your young adult is the client, so what they share in group stays in group.
With their permission, we can confirm attendance. Each Core term also includes an optional parent information session on supporting independence without taking over.
We ask that your young adult book their own screening call. You're welcome to help them get started.
Core
$1,200 for the full 12-week program Includes six 90-minute in-person sessions, six 60-minute virtual sessions, all handouts and skill sheets, and reminders.
Investment
Advanced
$400 per month, with no long-term commitment.
Pause or stop with 7 days notice before the next group at the first of the month.
A limited number of reduced-fee spots are available for each Core cohort.
Life Lab is led by Jen Biddle, LPC-MHSP, ACS, founder of Ensō Counseling.
Jen brings almost two decades of clinical experience, ten years of teaching DBT skills, and specialized training in neurodevelopmental and somatic approaches to her work with neurodivergent young adults. She also has lived experience with neurodivergence.

Get started.
The first step is a free, 20-minute screening call with just you, not your parents, to talk about what feels hard right now and whether Life Lab is the right fit. The next Core cohort begins in mid-January 2027, and Advanced follows in April.
